Pittville Park

Pittville Park is an iconic landmark of Cheltenham. If you’re visiting the Cotswolds then you absolutely must go to this delightful park, especially in the Autumn/Winter when it feels as though you’re walking through a romantic film scene.

It’s a fantastic place to take small children too, as there’s a huge children’s play area for kids of all ages. If you fancy a break from the climbing frames, swings and slides, you can adjust your little one’s focus to the aviary that sits right next to the playground. When I took my daughter, there were three exhibits of the most beautiful little birds. My toddler was totally transfixed by the tweeting and birds playing with each other; it was lovely to be able to hold her up close to the exhibit so she could easily see inside.
